How they met:
Lora and Spencer met in Clemson back in 2015. She was a sophomore, and Spencer was already out and working, but happened to be in town. They went on their first date to dinner (a local Mexican restaurant), a movie, and ice cream, and [thankfully] haven’t been able to get rid of each other since 🙂 It was clear to both of them after that first date that they wanted to be together!
And when the big question was asked…
They had their son, Owen, back in 2019. He was the BEST surprise they ever could have hoped for. Spencer and Lora always knew they were going to be married and have kids one day, they just happened to do it the other way around! Owen’s first birthday came along, and they were opening his presents. The last one was a little shiny blue box with a green bow. Lora helped Owen open it up as Spencer and everyone else watched. She pulled out a onesie that read “Will you marry Daddy?” as Spencer got down on one knee in front of their family and friends! It made an already special day that much more special!
