It was definitely fate by a chance encounter that Betsy and George met.

George totally surprised Betsy on March 19th of this year at the place where they had their first official date… Calhoun Corners in Clemson. George put the ring on his fork knowing he always gives Betsy the first bite of his food. It was a miracle that Betsy didn’t swallow the ring, because she didn’t notice it until the ring slid down and touched her lips! George then got down on one knee and asked Betsy to marry him.
