Thanks for checking out Hollie and Scott’s Wedding at The Barn at Sitton Hill Farm!
How they met:
Hollie and Scott met on an online dating service, Bumble, where the female has to initiate communication after matching. As Hollie could not resist Scott’s good looks and smile, she decided to reach out. They communicated for a few days via the app. Scott began to respond with short replies as he thought he was being catfished by Hollie. He thought “there was no way this girl is so pretty and so cool at the same time!” It wasn’t until Hollie mentioned a classmate named Jilyan, that Scott knew she was real. Scott had known Jilyan for many years, and with the unique spelling of the name, he knew Hollie was not cat-fishing him. They decided to meet and the rest is history!
And when the big question was asked…
Hollie and Scott had just returned from a trip in the mountains to celebrate Scott’s birthday (10/23/2021) and Hollie went upstairs to unpack and shower. Hollie came downstairs and they were waiting for dinner to arrive. As she made her way to the living room couch, to work on a puzzle in the meantime, Scott was down on one knee and Hollie was oblivious. She walked around him, loved on the dog (Cooper) who was on the other side of the couch, and then stepped over Scott and plopped down on the couch. Hollie just assumed he was looking for a puzzle piece or one of Cooper’s toys. He looked up at Hollie and nervously asked, will you marry me?
