Lacee and Sam met through an online dating site. They texted for a couple of days and decided that they needed to meet each other. They both had gotten out of long-term relationships, so they weren’t looking for anything serious. Due to covid, their cruise to the Caribbean was cancelled, so they planned a beach trip with Lacee’s family to the Outer Banks. Little did she know that she would come back with a Fiancee! It was the 3rd day there and they were renting a jeep to take on the 4×4 beach. Once they made it to Corolla beach, they found a spot and started to unpack the gear. After everything was out, Lacee was taking her basic beach pictures and she should have known something was up when Sam asked to take some with her. He doesn’t like to be in front of the camera. At this time, Sam had given Lacee’s mom the phone and her dad was beside her smiling ear to ear. She still didn’t think anything about it! Sam starts whispering sweet things in her ear and gets down on one knee. Lacee’s mom was jumping up and down with excitement. Both Lacee and her mom were the only ones that didn’t know and since then, she has been on cloud 9.
