Tess and Patrick met at the Upward Star Center where theu both used to work. When it came time for the proposal, Tess and Patrick were on a mission trip with their church in the mountains of Tennessee. Patrick took her to the church that had just been finished that she had been helping with over the past few summers and proposed to Tess on the front steps of it!
