Barbara and Merv ‘s wedding was so special and we were glad to be at their Hatcher Garden Wedding Ceremony and Twigs Tempietto Reception. It’s wedding like theirs that makes being a Greenville Wedding Photographer so special! We loved capturing the day!

Hatcher Gardens is such a great place to get married, and it is no surprise as to why Barbara and Merv chose it.

Greenville Wedding Photographers #teamfamzing started the day with capturing all of the details of Barbara's dress.

It is a cap sleeved Ivory full lace dress. It has a beautiful train with scalloped lace edges. It also has an illusion neckline and back. The back is stunning with the illusion fabric and lace as well as covered buttons going down. The veil goes down to my waist and has sparkly rhinestones along the entire edge of the tulle material.

The shoes are fabulous! Best of All, Merv picked them out! They are silver with rhinestone accents to perfectly match the dress.

Merv's Scottish Kilt was incredible, and a huge plus for the Wedding Photos.

How they met:

Mervyn walked into my place of business one day and I helped him out. He came back a few days later specifically to see me, asked me for a date and the rest is history!

The Proposal:
Merv took me to hike up to the top of Chimney Rock which is a popular mountain for scenic views. He carried my ring in his pocket the whole way up the mountain and waited for all the other people to finally leave that were also there to take in the views before he got down on one knee to propose to me. At an elevation of 2480 ft I said YES! I was in complete shock, he completely surprised me! It was tough getting back down the mountain with my legs shaking LOL!

The ceremony arrived, and we loved the look on Merv's face when he saw Barbara for the first time. He was all smiles! These two are soooo adorable together! And the gorgeous back drop of Hatcher Gardens in Spartanburg was perfect.

To top of the night, The Reception was help at the lovely Twigs Tempietto. The food was catered by Twigs Tempietto and was incredible, and they always impress us.

The Cake provided by Kathy and Company was not only elegant, but was delicious.

Our night came to a close with photographing them leaving with a Bubble Exit! Give Barbara and Merv some love in the comments below to help them win some awesome wedding stuff!
