Liz and Kevin truly created magic with how much love they showed at their Belmont Inn Wedding Ceremony and Reception. It was truly an honor being their Wedding Photographers! It was truly an honor being their Wedding Photographers!

Liz & Kevin had their ceremony at Kevin's parent's home, where he grew up. It's been in their family for generations. The reason they chose to get married there is because from the first moment Liz arrived in South Carolina, their house has always felt like home (in Liz's words). They welcomed both Liz and her son Connor into their family from the very beginning, and their home has always shared a special place in Liz's heart. It was very important to them to celebrate the joining of two families in a place that has held so much love and joy for both of them. 🙂

Additionally, Belmont Inn is such a great and historic place to have a reception, and it is no surprise as to why Liz and Kevin chose it.

#teamfamzing started the day with capturing all of the details of Liz's dress. It was a mocha colored dress with lace straps and a deep back. It has a plunging neckline, and it's A-Line with a beautiful tulle bottom with a few lace designs. The top part is covered in intricate detail.

The first look with her dad almost left us in tears, and it was so incredible and special to be a part of it!

How they met! (from Liz)

My dad was a retired Major in the Air Force, and he and my mother had decided to retire in Utah. I moved in with them briefly after my first marriage ended with my son who was almost two years old at the time. Kevin was in the Air Force and was stationed at Hill AFB in Utah. We met at a mutual military friend's going away party, and while we immediately formed a strong connection, we didn't start serious-ly dating for another 2 years. In that time, we developed a close friendship that eventually grew into something so much more. We dated other people as well in that time, but our friendship and mutual respect and love for each other never faltered. Eventually, we jumped in with both feet, and we've never looked back. Kevin has formed an incredible bond with my now 9 year old son, Connor. They instantly loved each other too. It was always like we were meant to be a family. In the past five years, we've spent our lives together, and finally moved halfway across the country together two years ago to be closer to Kevin's family in South Carolina. We purchased out first home together in October 2016, and we're so excited to see where life takes us next!

Proposal Story:
We went on a cruise with Kevin's family to celebrate my soon-to-be sister-in-law's graduation from grad school, and also our birthdays! (Kevin and I were born exactly 7 days apart) It was my first cruise, and it was AMAZING. We went to the Bahamas. And I absolutely was having the time of my life, and I told Kevin I never wanted it to end, and that when we retire, we should just do this forever. Kevin took me to the deck at sunset, and told me "We can definitely do this forever, but first, I need you to be my wife. Will you marry me?" I cried, of course, and couldn't stop shaking for the rest of the night, haha. You'd think after 4 years of dating, I'd be expecting it, but honestly it was a huge surprise. A really, wonderful and beautiful surprise! I can't wait to marry my best friend 🙂

The big moment arrived, and we loved the look on Kevin's face when he saw Liz for the first time. He was all smiles, and the union was even more special because Liz's son would be part of the unity ceremony, bringing the three of them together.

The wedding ceremony was perfect. And the reception at the Belmont Inn was enjoyed by all!

Our night continued with Jumping Jukebox introducing the new Mr & Mrs, and the celebration continued. Jumping Jukebox from the first dance to the last dance kept everyone entertained. We love how the rocked the crowd and kept everyone jamming all night!

To top of the night, the food was catered by Stump's Barbeque and Catering and was delicious as always!. The Cake provided by Strossners was not only elegant, but was delicious.

Our night came to a close telling them good bye and they danced the night away, avoiding the rain that held off until the end (so we stuck around to do some cool rain pictures)! Give Liz and Kevin some love in the comments below to help them win some awesome wedding stuff!
