William is a country singer and I came across one of his videos on Instagram probably a decade ago. I always thought he was really attractive and he thought the same of me! We messaged back and forth a couple of times over the years, but it never really went anywhere. In October of 2017, we messaged again a few times and haven’t stopped talking since! Four years later, we’re just less than two months from the official start to our forever!

William had arranged for a photographer to take some pictures for us at the Columbia Riverwalk since we hadn’t had professional pictures done in a while. The photographer (a childhood friend of mine) asked William to grab the other battery out of her bag while she took some pictures of me. When he came back, he said “I know you’ve been wanting me to upgrade your promise ring…”. Then, he got down on one knee and in the most nervous and excited I’ve ever heard from him, he said “Will you marry me?” Easiest “Yes!” ever! I cried so much that day and I still get emotional when I think about it 2 1/2 years later!
